Paper Abstract:      This paper is aimed at improving the level of appropriation of technology, including information and communication technology,among the Nasa people from the Corinto Lopez Adentro community in the Department of Cauca in Colombia, in order to support, improve, and facilitate Ethnic Education within the Nasa community. The working methodology has been based on collaborative research involving researchers from the University of Cauca in Colombia and representatives of the Nasa Community. The current research results considers the creation of a Virtual Community model which has a teaching component and a collaborative strategy, supported by a software platform implemented with Service-oriented Inventory architecture that offers teaching services and assistance. Also two meetings with members of the Nasa Community were held which helped to publicize the project and to get feedback from the community.
